The Reebok Easy Tone

I'm not usually a sucker for things that sound too good to be true...I'll admit that I have paused and wondered if they really do work as well as advertised. I mean come on who doesn't want a quick fix! Like this neckline slimmer...

But now I really want to know....can a pair of shoes really help tone your legs and butt while doing your normal daily walking. The first pair of shoes I heard about were at Bath and Body Works, FitFlops. Because I wasn't a true believer and I wasn't about to pay the price for a pair of flipflops that I may only wear a couple of times to find out it's a bust... so I forgot all about them.
Now, a shoe has caught my attention again...The Reebok Easy Tone. The commercials give viewers high hopes of looking like the models. I went directly to the website to find out more information about the shoes. There you can find the commercials - which again would make anyone want to look like those models! Also, there is a clip from NBC Today Show that put a test to the shoes. I was very intrigued until the very end where they said the shoes are not recommended for working out. Basically, you can walk all the time in them but don't try to workout. The website also shows a few exercises that one could do while in the shoes, basically it just looked like some stretching to me. Well, that's not what I thought they were going to be. If someone gave me a pair for free I would wear them or maybe if I won the lottery and had millions of dollars just laying around I would buy them. I am willing to admit that perhaps for a person who doesn't not workout and who does a lot of walking this may actually be helpful but I want a shoe that helps me workout while I'm actually working out! Apparently, I'm on my own.

  1. I have been wondering about these shoes too! Have you seen the Sketchers ones? They just look weird. But those reebok ones are cute. I guess even if they don't work, at least they look good!

  2. im new to your blog.. and i LOVE it! i am SUCH a sucker for marketing (a) and would LOVE to look like the model in the Reebok commercial (b) and have seriously entertained the thought of buying those new sneakers! And i've always been a Nike girl!! I'm glad I'm not the only one!! :)

  3. I kinda want to try that neck ! :)
