While at the mall today I went looking for a bookstore. I was hoping to find a big Barnes and Noble but surprisingly there wasn't one. The only boosk store at the mall was a very small Walden Books. Lucky me though because the store was closing, everything is 65-90% off! Yes, I do love a good deal on books. I purchased a couple of books and  note cards for change of address at 90% off I couldn't pass them up since I will need them in just a few short months.

I also saw Leap Year today with that darling husband of mine! I know it wasn't his first pick, but I begged. It was a cute movie good chick flick cause you know how it's going to end and that is my ultimate favorite type of movie!

I am also very excited about an upcoming book review I may be doing
...but I don't want to say too much just yet!

The Men Who Stare at Goats

I'd like to think I have pretty good instincts...I usually know what I will or will not like and while it may seem boring I stick with it. For instance movies. I do not like being scared..nothing about that feeling makes me happy not even a little bit. So I refuse to watch scary movies. The last movie I went to see the usually understanding husband told me this particular movie would be intense but not scary...more of an action type movie...needless to say I do not think I Am Legend is an action type movie...it is scary. I spent the majority of the movie with my face hidden in his shoulder not looking at the screen. I do like chick flicks, basically anything with Hugh Grant is good for me. That's what I like and that's what I watch. But last night I was peer pressured into seeing The Men Who Stare at Goats. Now I love to look at George Clooney who just gets better looking with time. But since I saw the first preview I've had no interest in seeing this movie. I mean seriously it looks pretty dumb from the preview...and I can't be the only one to think that! Back to last night in order to not be the odd ball, and because it wasn't going to be scary I had no way out. I went to the movie and oh what a surprise it wasn't good. There were a couple of funny parts but it's not something you would laugh at the entire time. When we get out of the movie theater my friends all say they were disappointed. *Thank Goodness* I am so glad I was not the only one who didn't like it.
