Day 4 - Your favorite book
I read a lot but I have a hard time saying a book is my favorite. One I just finished reading is The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch. The book is about a man who has terminal cancer and he is trying to leave something that his young children will be able to look back at and remember who thier dad was and how much he cared about them. The book is based on the actual lecture he gave at the college he taught at. If you google The last lecture you can actually watch the speech. If you are looking for something uplifting and an all around good read pick up this book.

ReplyDeleteI definitely enjoyed the concept of the book, but I found the author, almost cocky and for me it put a damper on thoughts about this book. However, I do think everyone should read it, it is uplifting :)
